The event will begin with a ceremony in partnership with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber at 3:30 PM, followed by a ribbon cutting at 4:00 PM and free paddling!

From launch, guests can paddle into shaded canal stretches or head south into the Assawoman Wildlife Area, where winding marshes, quiet waterways, and abundant wildlife create a peaceful escape from the beach crowds.

A Promising Season, Interrupted
After launching in July 2024, 2025 was set to be our first full season. Strong early momentum made it clear: this experience resonated.
However, peak-season infrastructure work forced a temporary closure of our waterfront access.
For a young business, the timing was tough—but it also created an opportunity to rethink, improve, and come back stronger.
Back and Better Than Ever
“This wasn’t just about reopening,” said owner Kelly Benson. “It was about taking a setback and turning it into something better. We’ve made improvements, and we’re excited for people to experience it.”
