Bay Venture Outfitters is seeking a seasonal on-site food service operator to support our waterfront paddleboard, kayak, bicycle, and beach recreation facility in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
This opportunity is designed to provide convenient food and beverage service to paddlers, cyclists, and beach-goers—during the peak summer.

- Waterfront site location near the intersection of Muddy Neck Rd. and Double Bridges Rd
- Adjacent to active kayak & paddleboard launch facility
- Steady summer traffic from recreation users and vacationers traveling to and from the beaches
- Parking lot available
- Natural fit for grab-and-go food and refreshments
- Relaxed, outdoor, coastal atmosphere
Ideal Concepts
We’re especially interested in concepts that pair well with outdoor recreation, including:
- Ice cream and frozen treats.
- Coffee, smoothies, or breakfast items.
- Tacos, sandwiches, seafood, or light coastal fare.
- Snacks and refreshments for paddlers and cyclists.
Creative concepts welcome if aligned with the setting and guest experience.
Operational Framework
- Seasonal operation (late spring through early fall; flexible dates)
- Hours aligned with recreational activity on site.
- Fully mobile and self-contained setup required, water and electric negotiable. No onsite wastewater.
- No independent destination advertising or permanent signage.
- Must be properly licensed and insured in Delaware.
Structure
- Operates under a revocable license agreement,
- Food service must remain limited and incidental to the primary recreational use.
- Structured to comply with existing county approvals.
